Lets STOP Encouraging - Corruption, Power, Greed that has led to a standstill in development in Bangalore and INDIA
Man is a greedy animal, wanting to achieve money, status, power in the shortest time as possible but does not care how they achieve them as long as they can accomplish it. What makes me Outrageous is that, we are responsible for all this. And we move along in our lives taking this as one of the chapters. And we are sending all the intelligent people Abroad to make other countries developed and advanced. How cool is that??? Not the fault of these people too, as they do have any hope or encouragement here in INDIA.
We the Educated, literate younger generation who help these people to achieve their goals. We do not bother to eradicate this corruption by ignoring their demands, instead we begin negotiating with these corrupt officials to reduce the bribe. Look at the pace at which the developments are taking place at in India and in Bangalore???
Lets get into the Basics of Corruption. Starting from College level, where we first learn to negotiate with our Peon to help us fix our attendance or with the traffic inspector/constable who catches us for driving without a Valid License or a helmet??? Or Bribing the peons in the Regional Transport Office to get us a Driving License??? these are just a few drops in the ocean.
Look at it this way, we study so hard, attaining degree's after degree's over 20 years of time in order to place our selves in a Respectable position with decent salaries. And look at these uneducated, illiterate people who also earn equivalent or even more than us???
Instead of bribing these officials with Crores of rupees every year from a single city like Bangalore, imagine the total it would sum up to when the whole of INDIA is considered. If it was utilized in a productive way, we could have eradicated HALF of the poverty in our country and even probably been a DEVELOPED COUNTRY by now. Or let us ENJOY our lives with that money, why do we need to look after their needs by paying them bribe???
I'll ask one simple question. What will they do if all of us STOP bribing them when we have all the right documents ??? what option do they have??? NOTHING, they will have to get the files moving into the next step/process. We need to do this, although we may lose some time, it is for the better and for our children and to eradicate this practise.
Politicians fight to come to Power inorder to recoup their expenditure for the campaign earlier, and to rake in as much as possible for the next elections as well. How do they do this??? By starting big investment projects in the state which run into Hundred of crores of rupees. An example of this is the evidence of JDS in the previous term and in the elections, the desperacy to get into power, the blaming game and so on... not that other parties are clean........all the Political parties are the same.
By the time the METRO project in Bangalore is completed, the traffic would have grown 100 times more and then it's the same story again. There is no proper planning. Neither the people in power will take any interest to get developing projects moving at a fast pace nor will they allow PPP to start off, where there is better levels of Professionalism and Quality.
We need to take the initiative to STOP this. We need to control our selves to STOP bribing. We need to TAKE the first step. It's only WE. No other people from other country will come to INDIA to eradicate this. It's WE who have started and encouraged this, and it's we who need to STOP this. It's OUR problem and we need to FIND solution or rather Initiatives to END this and guide our country towards being DEVELOPED.
Lets Do it, It's NOW or NEVER. India is getting noticed all over the world. If we do not take things in our hands now, it's over and lets not BLAME the politicians, because we have Voted them to POWER.
